Abstract

Concentrations of major gaseous nitrogen compounds measured at the regional station: La Palma in Pinar del Rio were analyzed and were also correlated with the main Types of Synoptic Situations (TSS). It was observed that measured concentration values are similar to those reported at a regional level in other parts of the world. Besides, the most significantly influential TSS on all studied, but NH3, nitrogen compound concentrations were obtained. NH3 was found to be the only nitrogen compound, which does not present significant differences.
