Abstract
A Partir de valores anuales individuales, se estimó la disposición para el país en los años de 19993 a 1997. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron una apreciable coincidencia con el comportamiento de algunas de las principales industrias del país.
La observada inclinación positiva de las tendencias actuales de la deposición seca del SO2 en áreas del país vulnerables a la deposición ácida, identifica a este proceso como un importante factor de potenciación para la ocurrencia de impactos negativos en ecosistemas forestales, en particular para algunas zonas de Camagüey a Matanzas y en Pinar del Río, y en zonas urbanas de la ciudad de la Habana.
