Abstract

The influence of air pollution and weather on human health has gotten enormous importance in recent years. Therefore, it is interesting to evaluate how much product money could be saved, due to minimize the action of these two factors on people’s life quality. Within this context, it proposes an analysis of how the weather variables and atmospheric pollutants have affected on bronchial asthma, with the aim of establishing links and related environmental costs. Regla was taken as experimental polygon. It was calculated the relative weight of air pollution in the disease, which is a 33.87 % and the environmental costs of asthma, due to the climate and air pollutants’ influence on it. In this way, we achieved a general model of direct and indirect costs of bronchial asthma treatment for Regla. The calculation of environmental costs will enable decision makers to have an important tool in their hands to manage air quality.
