Abstract

The Sun is the main source of energy for the majority of phenomena and processes taking place in our planet. Systematic changes of solar energy received at different ages on different regions, have a decisive influence on their climatic conditions. This reason justifies studies to estimate solar radiation in areas where there are not actinometric measurements. The objective of this work is to obtain of a model to calculate the cartographic distribution of the global radiation that affects on the terrestrial surface. They considered the process of extinction of the solar radiation that occur in the atmosphere, regardless of the effect of cloudiness in the model. Calculate the values of global radiation for each minute of the day, point of a grid corresponding to the area selected, to intervals of a, considering the influence of the variations of the relief in the spatial distribution of the radiation. The solar daily flux was obtained as the sum of the all values calculated for each minute of the day. Finally, the maps show the average daily global solar radiation for each month and for the year. As a result a model implemented in an application of software was obtained. The model to determine the space distribution of the global radiation at Casablanca’s zone was applicable like example. Validation was done with the measurements of Casablanca’s automatic station, obtaining significant correlations between the values measured and estimated
